Method and device for operating at least one vehicle (100), wherein at least one traffic sign having at least one weather-related piece of additional information is recognised and at least one operating state of the vehicle (100) is determined, wherein depending on the determined operating state of the vehicle (100), the weather-related piece of additional information of the detected traffic sign is recognised as relevant to the operating of the vehicle (100). The traffic sign having the weather-related piece of additional information may signal a permissible maximum speed for the operating of the vehicle (100). Furthermore, the additional weather-related information on the traffic sign may signal a second permissible speed, which would be lower than said first maximum speed. A possible operating state of the vehicle (100) could be the wiping movement of the windscreen wipers. |
