A shielding device comprising a substantially planar body having at least two short edges 3, and at least a first 1 and a second side 2; wherein the body extends between the sides. The sides deviate from said body to form blades 5, 11 or perimetric guides for shielding. The guides are arranged in use to be placed adjacent areas to be painted. The short edges may be scooped inwards or concave to enable the user to hold the device comfortably. The body may have a plurality of deviations 7, 8, 9, 10 or a wavy or corrugated shape allowing the device to be placed adjacent to an uneven surface. |
