PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can prevent occurence of cracking while ensuring on-ice performance.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire has a plurality of block rows provided in the tread width direction on a tread surface, which are configured by arraying in the tread circumferential direction a plurality of blocks that have polygonal tread-surface shapes with five or more sides, which are divided by a groove, each having an area of the tread surface ranging from 100 mmto 200 mm. The blocks are densely arranged in a zigzag fashion in which positions of the blocks in the adjacent block rows are different from each other in the tread circumferential direction. When a tread width-direction region comparable to 80% of a tread ground contact width TW with a tire equatorial plane as a center is set as a center portion, a part of the center portion has the block row, and a connection portion that connects the blocks adjacent in the tread circumferential direction in the tread circumferential direction is provided at least in the center portion. |
