PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic latent image development, which has excellent heat-resistant storage property and low-temperature fixability and can suppress occurrence of offset at high temperature.SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic latent image development comprises a plurality of toner particles. Each toner particle comprises a toner core containing a binder resin and a shell layer covering a surface of the toner core. The binder resin comprises a crystalline polyester resin and a non-crystalline polyester resin. The crystalline polyester shows a melting point Mpof 30°C or higher and 100°C or lower measured by use of a differential scanning calorimeter; and a difference (Mp-Tg) between the above Mpand a glass transition temperature Tgof the non-crystalline polyester resin is 10°C or more and 80°C or less. The shell layer is formed from a resin containing a unit derived from a thermosetting resin monomer and a unit derived from a thermoplastic resin; and the thermosetting resin is one or more resins selected from melamine resin, urea resin, and glyoxal resin. |
