PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a glass substrate for a magnetic disk whereby, when polishing a principal face of a glass substrate for a magnetic disk, a good polishing speed can be secured, cracks such as scratches cannot be easily occurred on the principal face, and sagging of marginal part of the principal face can be prevented, and a magnetic disk and a magnetic recording/reproducing device.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a glass substrate for a magnetic disk includes a step of making polishing using a polishing liquid containing, as an abrasive, partial stabilized zirconia containing yttrium. |
