[Classes 75 (ii), 75 (iii), and 75 (iv).] Reflectors ; lantern fronts ; supporting.-A vehicle lamp has a reflector comprising a main reflector 12 which projects a horizontal beam from the main source of light 8, and a subsidiary reflector which is integral with the main reflector and projects light from the subsidiary light source 11 in a forward and downward direction, the subsidiary reflector comprising a part spherical or parabolic portion 13 and a part cylindrical portion 14. The casing is of cast aluminium or other metal, and has the reflecting surfaces formed on its interior surface by polishing or plating. Alternatively, the casing may be pressed or spun. The main reflector may be substantially parabolic. Screw-threaded parts 6, 9 of clips 7, 10, into which are slid the holders of the bulbs 8, 11, are threaded into bosses formed on the reflector. The front cover has an annular frame 15 with two flanges 16, 38, the glass 17 being held in position by a washer 18 and a spring ring 37. Bolts passing through integral lugs on the casing and cover secure it in position. An attachment portion 3 formed on the casing is mounted in a correspondingly shaped seating on the vehicle, and is recessed on its underside at 23, an attached bolt 24 being pivoted therein. In another form, the reflecting surfaces are provided on a separate member of silvered glass or polished or plated metal, mounted within the casing. The upper part 34 of the lamp front may be coloured yellow, amber, or otherwise, by applying colouring material to the interior surface of the glass or by securing a coloured transparent member to the surface of the glass.
