摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten safety by suppressing the imbalance of a current value flowing between parallel-connected arms, making it possible to avoid a decline in system performance or efficiency and the degradation of a battery.SOLUTION: A charge/discharge device 10 of a power storage system 1 has a power conversion device (PCS) 11 for charging and discharging to and from the power storage system 1 and a battery controller 12. The battery controller 12 sets an upper-limit value with regard to the absolute value of a change amount per control cycle (e.g., 1 second, etc.) of a command value, and limits the command value so that its change amount is less than or equal to the upper-limit value before outputting the command value to the power conversion device 11. If the change width of the command value is greater than or equal to a maximum allowable change width &Dgr;Pmax, the battery controller 12 outputs, to the power conversion device 11, a command value derived by changing the current command value by the maximum allowable change width &Dgr;Pmax. If the change width of the command value is less than the maximum allowable change width &Dgr;Pmax, the battery controller 12 outputs a new command value to the power conversion device 11 directly as is.
