PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a junction structure using a construction method to create an underground space of large dimensions by connecting plural shield tunnels of small diameter which are bored parallel to each other by a shield machine capable of preventing generation of clacks at the outer periphery of preceding tunnels by boring of a following tunnel.SOLUTION: The construction method to create an underground space of large dimensions by connecting plural shield tunnels of small diameter which are bored parallel to each other by a shield machine employs a joint segment 1 which has an outside surface attached with an outer shell portion 12. The joint segment 1 is arranged so that concrete to be cut of the outer shell portion 12 of an outer skin plate of the joint segment 1 is positioned inside an outer diameter of a following tunnel. |
