The invention provides an apparatus (1) for testing secondary battery. The apparatus comprises a testing groove (2) for a secondary battery. A detection part (4) is provided to detect the abnormity of the secondary battery. A liquid medium storing part (5) is used to store liquid medium to cool the secondary battery. A liquid medium cooling part (6) is used to cool liquid medium. A liquid medium supplying part (7) is used to supply liquid medium to the secondary battery. A controlling part (9) is used to control the liquid medium cooling part (6) and the liquid medium supplying part (7). When the detection part (4) detects abnormity, the controlling part (9) controls the liquid medium supplying part (7) so as to utilize liquid cooled by the liquid medium cooling part (6) to cool the secondary battery. With the apparatus, when abnormality of a secondary battery occurs, the second battery can be cooled fast. |
