PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear transmission having a lubricating structure for efficiently supplying lubricating oil to a specified lubricated section which tends to be short in the lubricating oil.SOLUTION: The gear transmission includes a case filled with the lubricating oil, a shaft member journaled to the case for transmitting power, a plurality of sets of gear pairs which are provided on the shaft member for selectively engaging and joining one another to actualize a predetermined gear ratio, and at least part of which rakes up the lubricating oil, and a tray-shaped oil receiver 6 arranged in the case at the upper part of its internal space for trapping the raked up and flown lubricating oil and guiding it to the lubricated section. The oil receiver 6 includes a plurality of protruded strips 661, 662, 663 provided in parallel to one another on an outside face 611 thereof, extending while inclining in the axial length direction of the shaft member, for trapping the lubricating oil with its viscosity and guiding it along the inclination, and a dropping member (a dropping pipe 68) erected from near the inclined lower ends of the plurality of protruded strips downward to the specified lubricated section for dropping the lubricating oil. |
