PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemostasis pad for replacing which is used for a tourniquet.SOLUTION: A tourniquet consists of a woven fabric band 1 and a first locking piece 2 put on the outside surface of one end of the woven fabric band 1. The woven fabric band 1 is woven with elastic yarn running in a longer direction and has strong elasticity in the longer direction. At both ends of a hemostasis pad for replacing 4' in the longer direction, third locking pieces 5 with locking members which can lock to an inner face of the woven fabric band 1 are put on. The hemostasis pad for replacing 4' is locked and affixed to the inner face of the one end of the woven fabric band 1 by the locking members of the third locking pieces 5. The tourniquet which the hemostasis pad for replacing 4' is locked and affixed to is used, as the tourniquet with the pad, for emergency patients. The hemostasis pad for replacing 4' is applied to a wound and comprises a non-woven fabric constituted by entangling a sheet made of an elasticity net having elasticity in the longer direction of the woven fabric band 1 and a cotton web to integrate them. |
