PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for enabling a device configured using a PLD to autonomously eliminate a soft error in the device.SOLUTION: A controller of an embodiment comprises: a setting data storage unit that has nonvolatility and stores setting data for setting operation of a circuit unit; the circuit unit that comprises a storage element having volatility and a programmable logical circuit for operating on the basis of the setting data transferred to the storage element, and executes processing for communication with another device on the basis of the setting data; a setting data transfer unit for executing transfer processing of reading the setting data from the setting data storage unit to transfer the read setting data to the storage element of the circuit unit; and a control unit for making the setting data transfer unit execute the transfer processing when a soft error has occurred in the circuit unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
