PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device which can realize selection of the presence or absence of cutting of a recording medium or a cutting mode by a simple configuration and an image formation apparatus provided with it.SOLUTION: In a cutting device, a first right gear 61 is provided in one axial-direction end part of a second shaft 43 holding carrier rollers 33a and 33b of a first conveyance path. Third and fifth right gears 63 and 65 are provided in one longitudinal-direction end part of third and fifth shafts 44 and 46 holding circular knives 36a and 36b in a second conveyance path and are connected to the first right gear 61 through a second right gear 62. A fourth right gear 64 is provided in on axial-direction end part of a four shaft 46 and is connected to the second right gear 62. A left gear 51 is provided in the other axial-direction end part of the fourth shaft 45 and is connected rotatably with the gear part 52 of the other longitudinal-direction end part of a paper switch guide 31. A paper drive part 32 switches the rotation direction of a seventh right gear 67 to switch the rotation direction of the right gear train 60 and switches the rotation direction of the paper switch guide 31. |
