The invention relates to a charge balancing circuit for an energy store having: a plurality of energy storage cells and modules connected in series; an inverter, the input terminals of which are coupled to terminals of the energy store and which is designed to convert the total voltage of the energy store into a balancing voltage; a transformer with a primary-side winding coupled to the inverter and with a plurality of secondary-side windings; a plurality of rectifiers, each of which is connected to a respective one of the plurality of secondary-side windings and which are designed to rectify the balancing voltage of the inverter and to feed the rectified balancing voltage into a respective one of the plurality of energy storage cells and modules; and a control device which is coupled to the inverter and is designed to adjust the level of the balancing voltage on the basis of the total voltage of the energy store and the number of energy storage cells and modules of the energy store. |
