PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter capable of enhancing a safety much more.SOLUTION: A gas meter 1 sets an expansion 2 setting flag J to "presence" when a CPU 30 receives a request for cancelling a shutdown of a gas by a shutdown part 12 in all flow rate zones, and sets all of a plurality of individual setting flags included in an individual setting flag table J3 to "ineffective". Further, when the CPU 30 receives a request for making a part of the flow rate zone among a plurality of flow rate zones "effective" with respect to the shutdown of the gas by the shutdown part 12, if the expansion 2 setting flag J2 is set to "presence", the individual setting flag is set to "effective" with respect to the partial flow rate zone, the setting of the plurality of individual setting flags is not changed. The shutdown part 12 performs the shutdown of the gas only with respect to the flow rate zone in which the individual setting flag is set to "effective". |
