According to an embodiment, an image synchronization device includes an image capturing unit, a searching unit, and an output unit. The image capturing unit is configured to capture a first image while a mobile object on which the image capturing unit is mounted is running on a route. The searching unit is configured to acquire time-series second images captured by the image capturing unit while the mobile object was previously running on the route, obtain similarity between the first image and each of the second images, and search for a specific second image with the similarity satisfying criteria for select. The output unit is configured to output a synchronized image based on the first image and the specific second image. |
