An antenna section that forms a 3D beam that is formed with a horizontal beam having directivity in a horizontal plane and a vertical beam having directivity in a vertical plane, a mapping section that maps reference signals in association with predetermined antenna ports, and a precoding processing section that carries out a precoding process of the reference signals are provided, and the antenna section has a horizontal antenna element sequence, which is formed with a plurality of antenna elements and which serves as a horizontal beam forming unit, and a vertical antenna element sequence, which is formed with a plurality of antenna elements and which serves as a vertical beam forming unit, and the mapping section assigns the same antenna port to reference signals that correspond respectively to a plurality of antenna elements constituting the same horizontal antenna element sequence or a plurality of antenna elements constituting the same vertical antenna element sequence. |
