摘要 A bearing device including a crankshaft 11, a pair of half bearings 7 each having crush reliefs 73 adjacent to both circumferential ends thereof, a bearing housing having a retaining hole, and one half thrust bearing 8 arranged adjacent to the retaining hole. The half thrust bearing has a bearing alloy layer and a resin slide layer which constitutes a slide surface for receiving an axial force of the crankshaft. There may also be a back metal layer. The half thrust bearing has thrust reliefs 82R, 82F adjacent to both circumferential end portions of the sliding surface which make the half thrust bearings thickness thinner toward the circumferential end surface 83. A thrust relief length at an inner end portion of the thrust relief positioned on a rear side 82R in the crankshaft rotational direction is formed to be longer than a thrust relief length at an inner end portion of the thrust relief positioned on a front side 82F. The rear side thrust relief 82R may have a thrust relief length longer than a crush relief length of a corresponding crush relief 73 on one of the half bearings 7.
