A shower head cover is provided for reducing the risk of shower users contracting Legionnaires Disease where the shower has been inactive for a prolonged period of time. The cover 10 comprises a sleeve portion 12 having a first end 16 which is open and a second end 18 which is at least partially open. The first end has an adjustable closure 14 for closing the first end over a shower head 30. The adjustable closure may be a drawstring, with a drawstring cord 24 being located in a guide channel 20 of the cover and the cord being secured by a fastener 22. A method of containing an initial fluid flow from a shower head using the shower head cover is also provided. |
