PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance insulation between an electrode and a metal case in a heater.SOLUTION: A heater 100 of the present invention includes: a metal case 1; a ceramic body 4 disposed inside the metal case 1; a heating resistor 7 provided in the ceramic body 4; an electrode 5 provided on an outer surface of the ceramic body 4 and electrically connected to the heating resistor 7; a lead 3 led out to the outside of the metal case 1; an insulating member 6 provided so as to cover the electrode 5; and a filler 2 filled between the outer surface of the ceramic body 4 and an inner surface of the metal case 1. Since the insulating member 6 is provided, the possibility of causing dielectric breakdown between the metal case 1 and both the lead 3 and the electrode 5 can be reduced. |
