PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to, when a marker is recognized from image data obtained by imaging an imaging range including the marker, recognize the marker even when strong light (such as sunlight) directly hits the marker, recognize the marker even when a size of the marker is small in the image data, and recognize a plurality of markers respectively provided for a plurality of objects while distinguishing them from each other.SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of markers 1 respectively provided for surfaces of a plurality of objects 3 includes a plurality of polarized light generation regions 1a and 1b. Each of the plurality of polarized light generation regions is one of a first polarized light generation region 1a, which generates reflected light of first linearly polarized light from non-polarized light when the non-polarized light is incident thereon, and a second polarized light generation region 1b, which generates reflected light of second linearly polarized light from non-polarized light when the non-polarized light is incident thereon. A polarization direction of the first linearly polarized light is perpendicular to a polarization direction of the second linearly polarized light. By specifying arrangement patterns of the plurality of polarized light generation regions of the plurality of markers 1, the plurality of markers 1 are identified while being distinguished from each other. |
