PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preserve food suitably according to the amount of storage in a refrigerator.SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises: a freezer 4 sectioned by adiabatic walls and a thermal insulation door; a cooling system consisting of a compressor 8, a cooler 9, a cooling fan 10, a damper 12 and the like cooling the freezer; a drawer-type door 7c which covers the freezer 4 and can be drawn out to a cross direction; door opening and shutting detection means 13c detecting the opening and shutting of the door 7c; an actuator 23 opening and closing the door automatically; a driving force of the actuator 23; storage amount estimation means 32 estimating the amount of storage in the freezer 4; and control means 30 controlling driving of the cooling system and the actuator 23, and calculating the detection result of the storage amount estimation means 32. The temperature of contents is always kept in most suitable state by the control means 30 which controls driving of the cooling system on the basis of the detection result of the storage amount estimation means. |
