[Class 86.] In apparatus for conveying oscillatory motion for use in mixing-machines &c., each of a pair of roller or other chains l is secured at one end to a sector k rockable by an operating-handle f on a spindle c and at the other end to a sleeve h squared internally to drive the adjustable shaft g of a beater j. Each chain is formed in two parts of which the links are so placed as to wrap readily around the sector and the sleeve. The spindle c is adjustable to compensate for chain stretch. |
