Provided is an anti-toppling device that can be easily mounted at an appropriate angle of inclination. This anti-toppling device is provided with a damper (10), a pair of base portions (30A, 30B), and an angle restriction portion (70). The damper (10) is mounted between a ceiling (C) and the top surface of a piece of furniture (F) installed on a floor. The base portions (30A, 30B) connect the end portions of the damper (10) so as to be rotatable about a rotational axis. The first base portion (30A) is in contact with the top surface of the piece of furniture (F), and the second base portion (30B) is in contact with the ceiling (C). The angle restriction portion (70) is mounted to the first base portion (30A). The angle restriction portion (70) restricts the angle of inclination of the damper (10). |
