The present invention produces a titanium oxide agglomerate 1 comprising Ti4O7 by firing a precursor powder including nano-sized TiO2 particles in a hydrogen atmosphere. As a result, the present invention is capable of producing the titanium oxide agglomerate 1 which has a porous structure in which particulate secondary particles 3 are formed in which a plurality of crystallites, which are primary particles, are bound, and in which the plurality of secondary particles 3 are aggregated to form an uneven granular surface. Thus, the present invention is capable of providing the titanium oxide agglomerate 1 comprising Ti4O7 having a novel, non-conventional particle structure. |
