1. A stop control system comprising:
a direct-injection type internal combustion engine; a fuel injection valve configured to inject fuel directly into a chamber defined in the internal combustion engine; an accessory configured to be driven by the internal combustion engine; and a controller configured to operate the internal combustion engine, wherein the internal combustion engine has an intake port communicating with an inside of the chamber and configured to be opened and closed in synchronization with rotation of an output shaft of the internal combustion engine, and the controller is configured to control the accessory during a period from start of fuel cut that is cutting off of fuel supply to the internal combustion engine by the fuel injection valve to a moment immediately after the internal combustion engine stops, such that when the internal combustion engine stops completely, the output shaft comes, in a rotational direction, to a target stop position where the intake port is closed. |
