The invention relates to a method for producing a component structure (101, 201, 301) from a first component (102, 202, 302) and at least one additional component (104, 204, 304). The first component (102, 202, 302) is connected to the additional component (104, 204, 304) by means of a thermal joining process. The aim of the invention is to achieve good crash properties and/or vibration resistance for the lightweight construction with an inexpensive production. This is achieved by a generic method in which the first component (102, 202, 302) is a steel material composite that comprises at least one softer layer (102a, 202a, 302a, 302d) and a more rigid layer (102b, 202b, 202c, 302b, 302c). The softer layer (102a, 202a, 302a, 302d) has a lower material strength and a higher deformability than the more rigid layer (102b, 202b, 202c, 302b, 302c), and the joint zone part which lies in the first component (102, 202, 302) is at least partly formed in the softer layer (102a, 202a, 302a, 302d). |
