An information prompting method for use when matching a number combination to a channel group, and a remote control system, said method comprising: recording a channel group preset by a user (S101); recording a channel group matching a specific number combination (S102); reading number combination information inputted by a user (S103); detecting whether a channel group matching said number combination information exists (S104); if not, then maintaining the state (S105); and if so, retrieving the channel group matching the number combination, and pushing patent information to the user (S106). By means of matching a channel group with a number combination, different users can retrieve their respective channel group on the basis of individual features, thus implementing rapid switching of channel group between different users, and simultaneously protecting the interests of the creator of the technology. |
