The pneumatic tire is provided on a tread surface with: at least two circumferential main grooves that continuously extend in the tire circumference direction; and at least one rib-like land section that is partitioned by the adjoining two circumferential main grooves. The rib-like land section has: circumferential sipes that have circumferential sipe parts extending in the tire circumference direction; and both-ends-closed sipes that are terminated within the rib-like land section. When the land width of the rib-like land section is equally divided into three, with the region located in the center in the tire circumference direction denoted as a central region, and both the adjoining regions to the central region in the tire circumference direction denoted as side regions, the circumferential sipe parts are located only in the central region, and the side regions have the both-ends-closed sipes therein. |
