IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, PROJECTING DEVICE, AND PROJECTING METHOD

In some situations, techniques whereby a video of a specific site is merely projected onto body tissue are not adequate as a technique for assisting a user during surgery or during a pathological examination, for example. This image processing system is provided with: an infrared light radiating device which radiates infrared light onto biological tissue; a light detecting unit which detects light emitted from the biological tissue onto which the infrared light has been radiated; a control device which generates images of the biological tissue using detection results from the light detecting unit; a display device which displays the generated images; and a projecting device which projects first light onto the biological tissue. In response to an input to the display device which displays the images of the biological tissue, the control device controls the radiation of the first light onto the biological tissue by the projecting device in such a way as to reflect the content of the input (see figure 1).
