This propeller fan is provided with a boss which rotates about an axis of rotation, and blades which are secured to an outer peripheral surface of the boss. Each blade includes a second protruding portion which protrudes to the positive-pressure surface side, at the rear edge in the direction of rotation. Each second protruding portion is provided in a region on the radially outer side of the center of the blade, in terms of the radial distance from the inner circumferential edge to the outer circumferential edge of the blade, and includes a protruding distal end portion where the protrusion height is maximal, a first base portion, being a part where the protrusion begins on the radially inner side of the protruding distal end portion, and a second base portion, being a part where the protrusion begins on the radially outer side of the protruding distal end portion. The protruding distal end portion is located closer to the second base portion than to the first base portion in the radial direction. |
