A compound represented by general formula (1). In general formula (1), each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 preferably represents -CO-O-R11, and particularly preferably represents -CO-O-R11 in which R11 represents a tert-butyl group. In general formula (1), each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 preferably represents a group represented by -CO-O-R11. The compound represented by general formula (1) can be used suitably as a latent additive. The latent additive can be used suitably in a photosensitive composition.
