1. A water bladder system, comprising:
a flexible container; an air valve configured to be coupled with the flexible container and configured to selectively allow air to enter an interior of the flexible container; a filter configured to be coupled with the flexible container and configured to filter a fluid entering the interior of the flexible container; a release mechanism coupled with the flexible container and configured to selectively allow the fluid to exit the interior of the flexible container, and; an open-celled foam comprised within the interior of the flexible container, the open-celled foam coated with a quaternary organosilane coating produced from a quaternary ammonium organosilane reagent having the formula: wherein A is a member independently selected from the group consisting of —OR4, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, and substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl; and
wherein R4 is a member selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, and substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl; andR is substituted or unsubstituted alkylene;R1, R2, and R3 are members each independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl; and substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl;Z is a member selected from the group consisting of fluoride, chloride, bromide, iodide, tosylate, hydroxide, sulfate, and phosphate; andn is 1, 2, or 3. |
