摘要 The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used in rocket engineering, aviation and other fields which utilize systems comprising tanks, in particular fuel tanks, a fundamental structural component of which is a casing having a waffle structure. The present method involves placing ultrasound emitters on the outside surface of a fuel tank in the intersections of the cells of the waffle-patterned material of the fuel tank casing in horizontal rows uniformly throughout the height of the fuel tank. The inside surface of the fuel tank is moistened by filling the tank with water, and the emitters are activated. After 30 minutes, the level of the water in the fuel tank is gradually lowered and the ultrasound emitters are successively deactivated. When the water level descends to the level of a lower row, the ultrasound emitters of the row above are deactivated. The last row of emitters is deactivated 90-120 minutes after the tank has been completely emptied of water. The invention makes it possible to ensure the necessary degree of industrial cleanness of fuel tanks.
