The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technology which is capable of appropriately displaying objects which are for use in maintaining distances between vehicles. Provided is a display control device 1, comprising a road recognition unit 11, a control unit 13, and a first determination information acquisition unit 14. On the basis of the result of a recognition which is carried out by the road recognition unit 11, the control unit 13 controls a display unit such that objects which are for use in maintaining distances between vehicles are displayed in association with a portion of road which is ahead of the host vehicle and which is recognized by the road recognition unit 11. If, on the basis of first determination information which is acquired by the first determination information acquisition unit 14, a determination is made that the objects which are for use in maintaining distances between vehicles are to be displayed, the control unit 13 causes the display unit to display the objects which are for use in maintaining distances between vehicles. |
