Provided is a washing machine, which can realize the improvement of a washing performance in a structure where a washing tub is capable of rotating in a manner of being crossed with a vertical direction. The washing machine (1) comprises: a washing tub (3), provided with an inner tub (11) capable of rotating around an axis (J); a stirring member (45), capable of rotating to stir washings (Q) in the inner tub (11); a motor (46), capable of rotating the inner tub (11) and the stirring member (45); a rotating mechanism; and a microcomputer (48). The rotating mechanism can rotate the washing tub (3) in a manner of crossing the axis (J) with an up-down direction (Z), thereby changing a rotating angle (θ) of the washing tub (3). By controlling the motor (46) and the rotating mechanism, the microcomputer (48) executes a washing operation for reversely rotating the stirring member (45) or rotating the inner tub (11) at a plurality of rotating angles (θ).
