摘要 The invention relates to the field of refractory materials, and more particularly to periclase-spinel refractories, which are used in linings for high-temperature heat generating units, such as rotary kilns for calcining cement clinker, shaft furnaces for calcining lime, and the like. The present periclase-spinel refractory material, comprising a magnesium aluminium iron spinel, periclase and silicates, contains: at least 60 wt% periclase; no more than 3.5 wt% silicates; and a magnesium aluminium iron spinel, comprising the oxides MgO, FeO (based on Fe2O3), Al2O3, Fe2O3 and TiO2, the amount of which in the refractory material is determined by ratio (I) with a value between 2 and 19, wherein said spinel has a ratio (II) with a value below 40, in the refractory base the spinel is represented by the oxides MgO, FeO, Al2O3, Fe2O3, and in the refractory matrix it is represented by the oxides MgO, Fe2O3, Al2O3 and TiO2. The magnesium aluminium iron spinel in the refractory base can further comprise ZrO2, TiO2. The value of ratio (III) in said magnesium aluminium iron spinel is between 0.5 and 6.0 wt%.
