A vehicle seat locking device configured such that an engagement member having a locking pawl that can engage with a seat hook provided to a passenger seat is driven from an engagement position to an disengagement position in accompaniment with an operation performed by a vehicle user, and urged by an urging means toward the engagement position side, wherein the pressing means (30) is configured so as to apply an urging force on a seat hook (27), once the locking pawl (28) has engaged, in the direction in which pressure is applied toward the locking pawl (28), while imparting the urging force to the engagement member (29) toward the engagement position side, the urging force being generated in accordance with an operation from the open position to the closed position of the seat hook (27) and the passenger seat. It is thereby possible to ensure a seat locking state is maintained, using a simple structure. |
