establishing, by a computing device, a communication link with a wearable activity monitoring device; receiving activity information from the wearable activity monitoring device, the activity information corresponding to recorded activity of a user of the wearable activity monitoring device; determining, by the computing device, whether the user of the wearable activity monitoring device satisfied an activity goal by a first threshold amount; and in response to the determining that the user satisfied the activity goal by the first threshold amount, awarding the user with a first activity reward. |
