The invention relates to the technical field of computers, and specifically, to a method of disconnecting a link between Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) equipment and a host, and a device utilizing the same. The PCIe equipment comprises end point (EP) equipment. The method comprises: obtaining, by the EP equipment, an error type of an error of a transport layer packet (TLP) transmitted between the PCIe equipment and the host; if the error type is a recoverable error type specified in a PCIe protocol, computing, by the EP equipment, statistics of lasting durations that the error type of the error lasts; if the lasting durations reach a predefined duration, disconnecting, by the EP equipment, a link between the EP equipment and the host. The device comprises: an obtaining module, a statistics module and a disconnection module. The invention can reduce an impact on services running on the host. |
