The present invention relates to a driven concrete pile and a construction method thereof in which a point bearing part on the lower end of a concrete pile main body is driven into the in-situ ground via a residual slime layer on the bottom of a borehole when the pile is press-fit and rotated, thereby enhancing the pile bearing capacity. The driven concrete pile of the present invention, which is driven into the ground below a borehole by a downward pressing force or a rotational force and is supported by the ground, comprises: a concrete pile main body having an empty space formed in the middle thereof and being open at the bottom thereof; and a point bearing part having a shape in which the central portion is open and provided on the lower end of the concrete pile main body, wherein the point bearing part has a sectional shape having inner and outer inclined surfaces and being wide at the top and narrow at the base, the width of the lower end of the point bearing part being less than or equal to one-third of the thickness of the concrete pile main body, and a part or the entirety of the point bearing part is driven into the in-situ ground through residual slime on the bottom of the borehole. |
