1. A multilayer adhesive tape comprising:
a core layer comprising an elastomeric material, the core layer having first and second major surfaces that are opposed, parallel, and microstructured to define a plurality of recesses on the first and second major surfaces of the core layer; and first and second layers of pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on the first and second major surfaces of the core layer and at least partially filling the plurality of recesses; wherein the first and second layers of pressure sensitive adhesive are adhesively coupled to the core layer.
