An OADM node in a WDM system and a method, being capable of dynamically controlling the add wavelength of the OADM node, enabling the WDM system to have the ability of dynamic reconstruction, thereby improving the flexibility of the WDM system and simplifying the deployment, installation and maintenance of the WDM system. An embodiment of the present invention comprises an adding unit, the adding unit comprising a colorless optical transmitter, a first arrayed-waveguide grating, and a first waveband filter for dividing inputted optical signals into M sub-signals of different wavebands, a first optical switch and a first optical coupler/a first optical combiner, the transmitting end of the colorless optical transmitter coupling with the input end of the first waveband filter by means of the first arrayed-waveguide grating; M output ends of the first waveband filter coupling with the input end of the first optical coupler/the first optical combiner by means of the first optical switch; the first optical switch being used for communicating, according to a control signal, the output end and the input end of the first optical coupler/the first optical combiner, the output end of the first optical coupler/the first optical combiner coupling with an optical transmission path. |
