The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technique for enabling inspection of the state of a terminal-equipped electric wire more accurately even when a terminal and a core wire are similar to each other in color. This inspection method for a terminal-equipped electric wire includes a step (a) and a step (b). The step (a) is a step for acquiring image data by imaging a lateral surface of an end of a terminal-equipped electric wire that is under inspection. The step (b) is a step for assessing the state of the terminal-equipped electric wire by assessing the amount of protrusion, from a wire barrel, of the core wire on the basis of the acquired image data. |
