摘要 Provided are a method and device for measuring a time delay. The method comprises: determining a first time delay of a first path; acquiring a first two-way time delay of a first two-way path; acquiring a first one-way time delay from a third IGW port to a provider/a provider edge device; acquiring a second one-way time delay from the provider/the provider edge device to a first IGW port; determining a second time delay, wherein the second time delay is obtained by subtracting the first one-way time delay and the second one-way time delay by the first two-way time delay; and comparing the first time delay and the second time delay, and determining a size relationship between a one-way time delay of a path from an OTT server to a second IGW port and a one-way time delay of a path from the OTT server to the third IGW port. By means of the above-mentioned solution, a one-way size relationship between an OTT and different IGWs can be effectively determined, so as to determine an optimal path of the one-way time delay according to the one-way size relationship.
