PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly adapter.SOLUTION: The adapter includes: a first mount part which allows attachment thereto and detachment therefrom of a first interchangeable lens including a first correction lens for correcting image blurs of a subject image and a first lens side control unit for controlling the image blur correction using the first correction lens in accordance with a first correction command; a second mount part which allows attachment thereto and detachment therefrom of a second interchangeable lens including a second correction lens for correcting image blurs of the subject image and a second lens side control unit for controlling the image blur correction using the second correction lens in accordance with a second correction command and allows attachment thereto and detachment therefrom of a camera body including a transmission unit capable of transmitting the second correction command; a reception unit capable of receiving the second correction command; a transmission unit capable of transmitting the first correction command; and a control unit for controlling the transmission unit and the reception unit. The control unit generates the first correction command different from the second correction command on the basis of the second correction command received by the reception unit and transmits the generated first correction command via the transmission unit. |
