PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing agent for a liquid crystal display element capable of obtaining a liquid crystal display element having excellent display performance by preventing generation of gap unevenness even when a thin substrate is used, and further to provide a vertical conduction material and a liquid crystal display element using the sealing agent.SOLUTION: There is provided a sealing agent for a liquid crystal display element which comprises: a curable resin; a filler; a radical polymerization initiator and/or a thermosetting agent, wherein the curable resin contains 50 wt.% or more of a resin having a methacryl group with respect to the curable resin, the filler is composed of silica and a filler other than silica, the content of the filler is 35 to 80 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the curable resin, and the content of the silica is 12 pts.wt. or more and less than 40 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the curable resin. |
