PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AE test device and a method of a composite material tank capable of detecting a damage state of a liner of the composite material tank comprising the liner constituting a container and a fiber reinforced material for covering the outer surface of the liner.SOLUTION: An AE test device includes: a plane inspection part 12 formed integrally of the same material as that of a liner 1, and exposed to the outside of a fiber reinforced material 2; an AE sensor 14 mounted on the plane inspection part 12; and an inspection device 20 for detecting a damage state of the liner 1 from change in AE activity such as hit occurrence frequency of an AE signal detected by the AE sensor 14 or energy change. |
