PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal pump which suppresses the residue of a turning flow when guiding a fluid to an impeller of the next stage while removing a turning component of the flow of the fluid through return vanes.SOLUTION: A centrifugal pump includes: a rotary shaft which is rotated around an axial line; a plurality of impellers provided in the rotary shaft to be arrayed in an axial line direction and pumping a fluid with a centrifugal force; a flow passage in which the fluid pumped to the outside in a radial direction by the upstream-side impeller is inverted to the inside in the radial direction and allowed to flow into the downstream-side impeller; and a plurality of return vanes 17 provided at intervals in a circumferential direction in the flow passage after the fluid is inverted, and curved to convert the fluid toward the inside in the radial direction. The return vane includes a first communicating part 33 which communicates a pressure surface 31 of the return vane and a suction surface 32 to tilt the return vane to a downstream side from the pressure surface 31 to the suction surface 32. |
