PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flaky copper powder capable of forming a conductive film with excellent conductivity and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: The flaky copper powder comprises preferably, 60 nm or less of an X-ray grain diameter on a Cu (111) surface, 46 nm or less of the X-ray grain diameter on the Cu (111) surface, or 40 nm or less of the X-ray grain diameter on a Cu (200) surface, by an X-ray diffraction method.
